COVER REVEAL: Chaos by Jamie Shaw

The third novel in Jamie's fantastic Mayhem series reunites lead guitarist, Shawn, with a girl from his past who is determined to show him what he's been missing.

From the moment she saw Shawn Scarlett perform at a school talent show, Kit Larson has loved two things: the guitar, and the gorgeous green eyed boy who inspired her to play. But one careless night in high school shatters her hope of ever being more than a notch on his bedpost.

Six years, two bands, and one mostly-mended heart later, Kit's about to make her rock star dreams a reality as the new guitarist for Shawn's band,  The Last Ones to Know. He may not remember their reckless night together, but Kit has never forgotten... and she's determined to make him eat his heart out.

The release of their album means a month cooped up on a tour bus, sleeping inches away from the ridiculously sexy musician she's never quite gotten over. And as Kit gets to know the real Shawn- not Shawn Scarlett, the rock god, the player- their attraction becomes too hot to resist,. But the past is paved with secrets, and when they finally surface Kit could lose everything: the band, the music, her dreams... and Shawn.

BOUNCE: A BOOMERANG NOVEL
by Noelle August

Following in the bestselling tradition of Molly McAdams and J. Lynn, this final chapter in the fun and steamy New Adult trilogy by Noelle August (authors Veronica Rossi and Lorin Oberweger) features two aspiring musicians who must choose between their careers…and their sizzling attraction for each other.

Playing the occasional club gig just isn’t cutting it for twenty-two-year-old cellist Skyler Canby, who’s trying to support herself and her mother back home in Kentucky. Persuaded by her best friend Beth to accompany her on an audition for the first feature film launched by Blackwood Entertainment, she figures why not? Beth’s a shoe-in for the lead, but maybe Skyler’s newly dyed pink hair will help her stand out enough to score a small speaking part.

Never in her wildest dreams does Skyler imagine she’ll land the lead role or that she’ll have her shoes knocked off her feet by the kiss her audition partner, Grey Blackwood, plants on her—a kiss that feels very real and not at all “acted. ”

After throwing a party that causes thousands of dollars of damage to his older brother’s home, reckless musician Grey Blackwood gets roped into working off his debt on the set of his CEO brother’s newest project. Grey spends his days fetching coffee and doing odd jobs around the studio, but he lives for nights when he performs with his band. He knows if he can stay focused, success as a singer is just around the corner. But that’s tough with a distracting pink-haired girl occupying his every waking thought.
Skyler and Grey have every reason to resist each other. But, like a song neither of them can get out of their minds, they have no choice but to go where the music takes them.

SPOTLIGHT & EXCERPT: Stay for Me by Carlene Love Flores

One night to finally make it right before it all gets torn apart…

Two years ago, best friends Emma Chester and Sam Jason tried being intimate. Due to Sam’s massive size, it didn’t work. Embarrassed, they did their best to move on.

Now the day has come where Emma must suspend Sam as a dancer at the club they work at, awakening the buried pain of that one night.

Sam has seen this day coming but is shocked when Emma asks him to strip for her just once before he leaves the club. Allowing himself to feel for her again is too dangerous but she’s clearly not in her right mind and needs him.

Can he maintain his restraint and help her? When she hands him his uniform to strip out of, is she handing him her heart? Or is it too tattered to ever belong to him again?

Excerpt:
There was something about this room she hated.
And very little else to do inside besides be together. Which he was sure she also must hate after the way he’d hurt her before.
He had one word for her and feared like a little girl that saying it would be the one thing to push her away for good. But he had to say it.
“No.”
This wasn’t a place to enter on the premise that you trusted a person. You either went in here not caring a damn about what might happen, like most of the show patrons he’d brought, or fully aware and in control of yourself. No in between. Sam had watched her toe the line throughout their entire conversation.
“I won’t take you in there. You’re not ready. Don’t be stubborn and ask me how I know that. I just do.”
“It’s not up to you right now.” Her lips stopped speaking and it was clear that was the last thing she would say until he either followed her in or left her in the hallway, alone.
Like fire that realized it was on dry ground and free to burn, the thought of being in there with her jolted his body awake. Years old, buried and desperate desire, came out of hiding. He would put himself through hell to be able to have her and not hurt her. But standing directly behind Emma as she unlocked and opened the black door, he saw how he still engulfed her.
From her petite shoulders came a giant heave as she took the first step inside.
In that instant, he knew she was wrong. He could and should choose not to go inside, but he did have something to show her. That she was safe when they were together. He couldn’t believe that was what this had turned into but found some small ground to stand on and be thankful. He wouldn’t piss this opportunity away. A man took responsibility for his actions, no matter how far in the past they’d happened and how much time he’d spent racking up distance, hiding. Sam would be the ambassador of control and restraint once they were on the other side of this door.
He had to prod her forward the next step. And the next, which set off a mile-long trail of red flags.
He waited and let her be the one to turn and close the door.
As soon as he heard it click, he slid his hands inside the tight pants pockets and held them there.
The room was dark and chilly; her breathing echoed in his ears. He went in search of the light switch. The low bulb setting purposely only lit the room one shade lighter but it was enough to see the shadow dampening her pretty face.
“Okay,” she said out loud, like she was her own coach. “Okay.”
“We’re out of here, Emma. Now.”
She held up her small hand and he’d have latched onto it had his hands been available. “No. We’re not leaving. I’m fine. I just needed a second,” she said. That wasn’t her “I’ve got this” voice. She was acting and not doing a very bang-up job of it.
Sam had no choice but to touch.
He fumbled around and found her other hand and took it into his, receiving an instantaneous jolt of comfort. He hoped he affected her the same way but couldn’t be sure. She was awfully still.
Emma looked at the neon hands of the wall clock. “We have one hour before the second show lets out,” she said.
“I’m assuming you have some plan, Emma.” God, please tell him she had a plan. Because the only one he had was to let go and keep his hands to himself, no matter what.
She stared through him and scanned the near nothingness of the room. “I do. I do have one. I want you to strip for me, Sam.”

COVER REVEAL & GIVEAWAY: Loving Dallas by Caisey Quinn!

Loving Dallas
by Caisey Quinn
William Morrow, June 16th, 2015

Dallas
********
Sacrifice.
I'm familiar with it.
I've had to leave behind everyone I've ever cared about- my sister, my best friend, my band, and my high school sweetheart- in order to chase my dream of making it in Nashville.
But when Robyn Breeland walks back into my life, it's as if the universe has decided to give me a second chance, I'm just not sure it's one I am willing to take.
---------------------------------------------------
Robyn
********
Heartbreak.
I practically majored in it.
Dallas Lark was the first boy I ever loved and the one who'd shattered my heart into pieces. Working in promotions at Midnight Bay Bourbon, I'm too busy to sit around moping over my ex. But when my company decides to sponsor his tour, I'll have to face him whether I'm ready or not. Dallas is determined to drive me to distraction, and my body begs to let him.
Trouble is, my heart can't tell the difference between a second chance and making the same mistake twice.

Excerpt from Loving Dallas:
“I’m still me,” he’d said before falling asleep.

I’d been about to snuggle down into that blissful murkiness of sleepy time when he’d said it.

No matter how much he’d changed, Dallas was still Dallas. And maybe I had a college degree and a big-girl job, but I was still the same girl he couldn’t forgive. I’d been an idiot, pushed him away so that he wouldn’t let my mom’s illness stop him from chasing his dreams. By the time I realized how unfair it was and how much I needed him, the damage was done and Dallas Lark had moved on.

I was the one who’d needed space, but Dallas ended up being the one to walk away for good.

Forget being on the same page; Dallas and I had been reading entirely different books when it came to our relationship. In mine, there was a happily ever after that involved making a life together. He wasn’t just in my story—he was my story. In his I was merely a chapter.

I’m still me.
I wanted to smack myself. Hard. Of course he was still him. And he’d still walk away, dragging my battered heart behind him while I watched him leave. I’d hurt him, deeply. And I’d live with that regret for the rest of my life. He’d still be the guy who chose music over me, over us. He had even more reason to now that he was on this tour.
I waited there in his arms, forcing my steel walls back up between us while he drifted into unconsciousness. Once his breathing was deep and the light rumble of a snore settled into a steady rhythm, I slipped out of his bed and gathered my things as quietly as I could. Dressing quickly, I watched him, memorizing that peaceful look on his handsome face and promising myself this was a one-time thing. I wasn’t going to obsess over it. It was a life experience, one I didn’t regret but knew

I’d be crazy to repeat.

I chanced one last look as I left, before I shut the door completely. The light from the hotel hallway sliced across him and he looked so . . . alone.

I closed the door and told myself this was for the best. What would having breakfast together or sharing a cab to the airport change? Nothing, that’s what.
This time, I’d been the one to leave. For the sake of my sanity and my heart, I could never fall into bed with Dallas Lark again.
