Review:
Leslie Cutter (sister of Mark Cutter from Stealing Home: Diamonds & Dugouts Book #1) is trying to rebuild her name in the business world and is using her job running the nightclub her brother owns to do it. She eventually wants to buy the club from Mark and this bet with Peter will give her exactly what she needs to make her dream a reality. Peter can't get Leslie out of his mind and will do ANYTHING to win this bet. Leslie and Peter have amazing chemistry, their flirty banter is STEAMY and when they finally give in... someone get me a fan.. I am sweating over here.
Jennifer Season's Diamonds and Dugouts series is quickly becoming one of my favorite sports romance series. I now know that when I see a new book in this series is being released I can look forward to a great baseball romance, with a lot of heat both on and off the field. Each book revisits with old characters while introducing new characters and can be read in any order (although I recommend reading them in order, you really appreciate the other characters reappearances this way).
Throwing Heat exceeded all of my expectations. I feel like every time I review a book in this series I say it is better than the last and I have given the previous books 5 Stars- so this one is an out of the park home run if you ask me! This book will be on my favorite books shelf, and is one I am sure to pull for a reread sometime in the near future!
