Review & Giveaway!

LOVE THIS COVER!!!
A young college woman gets schooled in life, sex and love in New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan's sizzling New Adult romance series- where there Ivy League suite-mates testing their boundaries as they seek higher knowledge of just how far they can go.

A born flirt and good-time party girl, Emerson has never had a problem finding a willing guy. She's always chosen her hook-ups carefully, and she's never broken her three cardinal rules:

Never let them see the real you.

Never fall in love.

Always leave them begging for more.

Then comes Shaw. A hotty from the wrong side of the tracks, he's immune to her flirtatious smile and come-hither smile. After rescuing her from a disastrous night at a biker bar, he doesn't even try to take her to bed- he calls her a tease and sends her home instead. Unable to resist a challenge, or forget the sexy dark-eyed bad-boy biker, she vows to bring him to his knees.

But instead of making Shaw beg, she finds herself craving him. For the first time in her life, she's throwing out her rule book. Suddenly, she;s the one panting for a guy she can't control. A guy who won't settle for anything less than the real Emerson, who forces her to do things she's never imagined, including facing a past she thought she'd buried.

A guy who just might leave her wanting more...

Review: I can honestly say that this book has been on my TBR list since the second I flipped the last page of Foreplay, book #1 in Sophie Jordan's amazing series the Ivy Chronicles. I never expected to have an author I primarily viewed as a historical writer,  blow my socks off with her talent for writing new adult. I couldn't wait for more from this series.. and what a "Tease" she is... check out this trailer that was released before the book was available:

Once I got my hands on this book, I immediately stopped what I was doing and started reading, I never got up, I inhaled all 320 pages in one sitting.

We met Emerson in Foreplay as the lively roommate and friend. The lead into this story was perfect. Emerson and Shaw have chemistry from the start, and the initial impression of disinterest he shows toward Emerson after rescuing her from a brawl in a biker bar,  drew me in.. hook, line and sinker. This book is full of all the elements that make for the perfect new adult read, the chemistry, the tension, anticipation and eventually the fireworks. The characters from the previous book are integrated nicely and like the first of this series left me eagerly anticipating Wild, Book #3- set for release in November of this year.

Tease is part of the Ivy Chronicles series, but the story can stand alone. I liked reading it after Foreplay, because in the books I really love, I find it nice to revisit and get more story from characters you already like and that was certainly the case here. I gave Tease- 5 Stars and a standing ovation. This book is on my favorites shelf and once again Sophie Jordan proves she is a triple-threat- an author that can write, historical, new adult and young adult... wait she also writes paranormal- she is unstoppable!
