Review:
Game Changer is a refreshing new take on the genre of sports romance. Baseball is the all American game, the boys club. Well this boys club just got a new member in the form of a pretty little lady named Sasha. Sasha grew up playing softball, she has skills, but enough to skills to make it with the big boys? Her goal, make the team and survive the season through the playoffs, hopefully holding her brother's spot available for when/if he is able to return to the game.
Brooks is her brothers best friend, she's had a crush on him her entire life, but to Brooks she's always been the little sister... or has she? Brooks started having feelings for Sasha after spending time with her at her brother's wedding, but when his BFF gives him strict orders to stay away from his little sister, this good ole' boy does as he is told.. well he tries to anyway.When Kyle gets sick and Sasha comes up with this crazy plan to play for the Kings, Brooks unconditionally supports her, but the more time he spends with her, the harder it is to fight his feelings and keep his promise to his friend and to complicate matters, now that Sasha is his teammate the prospect of a relationship is even slimmer.
I loved Brooks and Sasha. Brooks is not your typical womanizing professional baseball player, he comes across as sweet and caring. Sasha is such a likable heroine, she puts her life on hold to do something unconditionally for her brother. The building chemistry between these two is palpable and I for one couldn't wait to see where their story would lead. I love a good sports romance and Game Changer was even better than I expected. I am giving Game Changer 4.5 STARS and I can't wait to see where this author goes next.Buy Links:
