REVIEW: All of Me by Jennifer Bernard

Jennifer Bernard, the USA Today bestselling author of the Bachelor Firemen series, scores another home run with a brand-new series about sexy, single baseball players.

Playing for the Kilby Catfish is hotshot pitcher Caleb Hart's last chance to salvage his career after a major league meltdown. But the day of his opener with the minor league team, Caleb strikes out with the gorgeous woman who is delivering the petition to run the unruly Catfish out of town. Now, to stay in the lineup, Caleb will need to score big with the feisty brunette he can't keep out of his thoughts.

After the nasty lies Sadie Merritt's rich ex-boyfriend spread about her all over town, she's lucky to have a job at all. She can't afford to screw it up by falling for the player that is supposed to be there helping her change the image of the fun-loving Catfish. But that's easier said than done when Caleb's voice alone is enough to make her pulse race. And when he surprises her with a mind-blowing kiss, she knows there's no turning back.

REVIEW:
Fan's of Jennifer Bernard's Bachelor Firemen of San Gabriel series are going to be over the moon to discover her newest series, Love Between the Bases. All of Me, the first book in this series,  takes the trademark Jennifer Bernard, humor, romance and heat to a whole new, pardon the pun.. playing field.

If you thought the Bachelor Firemen of San Gabriel got into some trouble, you haven't seen anything yet. These boys are so wild the more conservative residents of the town want them gone..  enter the Can the Catfish petition that Sadie Merritt, now finds herself  assigned to resolve. She can't afford to lose her job with the Mayor, it is the only one she was able to secure after the fallout with her nasty ex- the "Golden Boy" of Kilby.

Caleb is in a slump, his pitching is so bad it is painful to watch, he has to get over this issue, so when the team owner assigns him to a PR campaign to help improve the Catfish's image in the community he is less than thrilled. Caleb and Sadie both enter their tasks a little reluctantly, but as their friendship/relationship develops, All of Me quickly becomes the perfect contemporary romance. The more time Caleb spends with Sadie the better his game gets, Now, if they can get the team to play nice, then maybe this situation will work out for the best for Caleb, Sadie, Kilby and the Catfish.

Caleb is a hero that grows on you and Sadie is a heroine that you want to hug and then throw water balloons at the rest of the people in town that treat this sweet girl unfairly.  I found myself throughly entertained with lighthearted banter and just enough drama to keep me turning the pages. From the Can the Catfish petition to the Save the Slugs campaign, I fell in love quickly with the quirky members of the team and community and I can't wait for more from this series.

I gave All of Me - 5 STARS and  agree that  it's another home run for Jennifer Bernard!\

Jennifer Bernard is the USA Today bestselling author of the Bachelor Firemen of San Gabriels series. She is a graduate of Harvard and a former news promo producer. The child of academics, she confounded her family by preferring romance novels to … well, any other books. She left big city life for true love in Alaska, where she now lives with her husband and stepdaughters. She’s no stranger to book success, as she also writes erotic novellas under a naughty secret name not to be mentioned at family gatherings.

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and I honestly LOVED this book!
