Goodbye Girl by Scarlett Metal
Review

HOT COVER!
Blurb:
Rachel met Clint in a diner one night while she was on the road trying to escape her past. From the moment they lay their eyes on each other, sparks fly. He offers her a job on his ranch and even though she's a city girl she accepts.

It's not long before they give into their attraction and settle into life together on the ranch. They find happiness in each others arms and quickly wonders if Rachel is the girl that can give him his happily ever after.

Rachel's past eventually comes back to haunt her, and threatens her happiness with Clint. Can't they work through their demons of the past and find their happily ever after. Or will Rachel leave Clint just like she fled her life before.

Review:
I believe in love at first sight, it happened to me, and it also happens to Clint and Rachel in Goodbye Girl.

Clint is a bit of an alpha Cowboy.  Two things I love in a hero! He takes Rachel in and gives her a job, and when her past comes back to visit her he protects her with all he has. Will Clint's love be enough to keep her from running?

This was an sexy romance, the intimate interactions between Clint and Rachel are STEAMY HOT, and I finished this book with a happy feeling in my heart. I have read one other Scarlett Metal book that I really enjoyed, but felt this book was a change of pace from her previous works. I found myself enjoying this book even more. It is a nice happy romance that will inspire you to believe in love at first sight.

I give Goodbye Girl 4 Stars and will be adding it to my books I really liked and Hot Cowboy shelves  on Goodreads.
