Game Play
Power Play #1

Carina Press
One night, one time, nothing more. Fresh off representing the US at the Games and with nowhere else to play, Samantha gave in to one night of frantic passion with the Glaciers' brawny hotshot. She couldn't get hurt- not if she controlled the outcome. And she planned to leave Minnesota soon, anyway. She didn't expect to be recruited by to coach Dylan after they'd gotten down and dirty.
When brutal on-ice workouts lead to kinky locker room sessions and "one-night" falls by the wayside. Samantha insists on keeping things casual, despite Dylan's quiet hope for more. But when Dylan goes down- hard- and his career is in jeopardy, Samantha is the first one by his side. What will it take to keep her there after he's healed?
Review:
I love stories with a strong heroine. Samantha Yates is one of the best female hockey skaters around, but like most great female skaters, after college her tenure as a skater is competitive hockey player is almost over. She is a little bitter that she can't really play the sport she loves, but is focusing on getting her degree to work as a Sports Psychologist. She isn't interested in any emotional attachments, her eye is on the prize and this fling with Dylan is well, just a fling, or is it?
This is do or die time for Dylan in terms of his contract renewal. He needs to focus on hockey, his eye is also on his prize, but for some reason his keeps wandering to the beautiful, strong, sexy girl that he can't get out of his head. They steam up the pages, and he works on heating up her heart.
Game Play is a sexy, emotional story that will appeal to most romance fans, not just us sports romance junkies! I gave this read 4.5 STARS and can't wait for more books in this series!

ReplyDeleteI really like the sound of this book because both the main characters are hockey players. I'm looking forward to reading it.
